ILJF works with local and state entities to eliminate blight in neighborhoods by acquiring dilapidated properties and transforming them into desirable places to live and work. ILJF's community development activities focus on the creation of low-income housing, and specially adapted housing for disabled and homeless U.S. Military Veterans, and their families.
ILJF works alongside other non-profit organizations within our community to provide volunteers for help with a variety of charitable activities such as volunteering at food pantries, special events, and participating in neighborhood beautification projects that help renew our environment and create meaningful improvements to quality of life.
I Love Julia Foundation's Indiana Veteran Housing Initiative is our signature Program that aims to eliminate homelessness among U.S. Military Veterans.
We currently operate in the Greater Indianapolis Area and collaborate with local and state entities towards acquiring and developing real estate parcels in efforts to solve neighborhood blight and revitalize communities.
ILJF engages in community development from a holistic perspective by providing affordable and safe housing along with access to supportive services geared towards helping people overcome barriers to self-sufficiency.
Our developments highlight specially adapted housing for disabled U.S. Military Veterans, and their families, and emphasize community interconnectedness.
